About Local Goods Network

Good businesses deserve to be found.

Local Goods Network brings small businesses, their products, and their upcoming events into one place. It’s a way to discover what’s nearby and give more people a reason to shop local.

A note from Troy

Built for the community I care about.

Through my local business and Chamber of Commerce connections, I’ve seen how much small business owners take on. Keeping an online presence current can feel like another job, especially when you’re busy running a shop or getting ready for the next market.

I’m building LGN to make it easier to show what you sell, let people know where to find you, and be part of a wider local community. And as someone who loves a good thrift find, I know how much there is to discover when you look a little closer to home.

Troy Taylor Founder, Local Goods Network

Your business, connected to more people.

Give customers a place to browse your products, learn your story, and keep up with what’s new. Manage your page from your phone, without needing a tech team to keep it current.

LGN can be your online home or work alongside the website you already love. Add an optional link to your own site while giving nearby shoppers another way to discover your business through the network.

A place for your next market, too.

You don’t need a permanent storefront to belong here. Share where you’ll be selling, add upcoming event details, and give shoppers a preview of what you plan to bring.

When you turn on product requests, customers can suggest items they’d like to see at your next event. You decide what to pack. Requests help you plan; they don’t reserve an item or guarantee it will be available.

Browse online. Make the connection locally.

Get to know participating businesses and see what they offer before heading out. Find visit details or an upcoming market, and request a hold for local pickup where a business offers it. Then meet them in person and shop under their own terms.

Helping local businesses get noticed.

My plans go beyond giving you a page. I’m building toward rotating business and product spotlights, sharing member stories through LGN’s Facebook and Instagram, and offering members free vendor spaces at future LGN-hosted events on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to space and event requirements.

These benefits are being shaped as the network grows. Visit the Join LGN page to learn more and help me build something useful for your business.

I’m just getting started

Help shape something local.

I’m welcoming the first businesses and listening to what they need. Take a look around, or join the interest list and share your feedback as LGN grows.
